However, during its rapid development, Yueqian Technology has faced difficult and challenging problems that need to be solved. 

First, it is not an easy task to manage and maintain a large business system. With the rapid growth of Yueqian Technology’s business, the stability, complexity, and risks of the business system’s operation will increase. Ensuring the stability of the business system and the rapid recovery from business failures have become matters that need to be addressed.

Secondly, how to ensure that system resources are fully available. When there are no available computing resources, it is necessary to be able to quickly call resources related to the infrastructure to make up for the lack of computing power.

Finally, there is the storage problem. In the face of a huge amount of data, how to store it reasonably so that when underlying hardware failures occur and data loss problems arise, the data can be quickly restored while being convenient to use.

In response to the above issues, the resources provided by the cloud – based business platform and Google Cloud resources can basically cover the business needs and challenges of Yueqian Technology.

Facing the above tough problems, Baidao, a Google Cloud partner, conducted a detailed needs analysis and evaluation of Yueqian Technology. Yueqian Technology hopes to fully integrate the stability and technological advantages of the cloud platform. The rich variety of cloud services provided by Google Cloud and the easy integration among various cloud services precisely meet Yueqian Technology’s pursuit of the development concept of independent innovation. The use of Google Cloud Filestore shared storage service has met the needs of resource sharing and storage in different regions; Cloud VPN has established communication between the cloud and local areas, forming a global hybrid local area network; through GLB scheduling and monitoring, load balancing of clusters and rapid resource scheduling have been achieved. This has enabled Yueqian Technology to achieve the automatic scaling and load balancing of some services, ensuring the normal operation of the system while making it more resilient. During the early business migration phase, Baidao assisted Yueqian Technology in architecture design, business testing, and deployment:

1、Build a load management platform on GCP, intelligently schedule through policies, automatically scale instance resources, improve resource utilization, and enhance system performance.

2、By adopting the Filestore network file system, a system can share directories and files with others over the network, implement a shared file system, and access the storage connected to the client.

3、A complete network architecture, enabling MFA multi – factor authentication to enhance the security of users’ access to websites and services; using VPN dedicated lines for data transmission to connect the “dedicated lines” between the local area of citizens and other regions, and at the same time introducing the IPsec protocol to strengthen the network security mechanism.

During the MSP managed operation and maintenance phase, Baidao follows the best practices of Google Cloud Technology to provide daily operation and maintenance services for Yueqian Technology:

1、 Carry out security reinforcement for existing resources, including Filestore volumes, GCS storage encryption, IAM policy permission review, etc.

2、  Resource monitoring and management. Monitor instance resources through Monitoring and configure automatic fault recovery.

3、  Daily data snapshot backup reduces the probability of data loss and improves the speed of data recovery.
