Beijing Pop Mart Culture & Creativity Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Pop Mart”) was founded in 2010 and is a trendy culture and entertainment company. As of December 31, 2023, the total number of Pop Mart stores in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan of China and overseas reached 80 (including joint ventures), and the number of robot stores reached 159 (including joint ventures and franchise stores). In 2023 alone, Pop Mart opened its first physical stores in France, Malaysia, Thailand and the Netherlands.

Since the overseas cloud platform was migrated to GCP in 2024, the overseas business revenue of Pop Mart has been booming. New online mall sites have been opened in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, etc. In the third quarter of this year, the revenue increased by 440% – 445% year – on – year, and its proportion in the total revenue rose from 16.9% in 2023 to over 45% in September 2024.

Thanks to Google Cloud’s globally – covering infrastructure, as well as its ability to meet the industry – leading security and compliance requirements worldwide and other comprehensive factors, Pop Mart has chosen to build its global independent websites in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia on Google Cloud, taking an important step in the “brand going – global” construction of Chinese trendy toys.
